Harvey Belanger, age 67, a resident of Wallace, Michigan,

 passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2000 at Bay Area Medical 

 Center.  Harvey was born December 4, 1932 in Marshfield, 

 Wisconsin.

 

 He married Nancy Cook on April 8, 1954 in Marinette.  He 

 worked for Harnischfegar Corporation for 31 years.  He retired in 

 1992 as the Plant Supervisor.  He was a member of the Gethsemane 

 Lutheran Church in Wallace, the Crivitz Masonic Lodge, where he 

 served as master in 1999, Beja Shrine Temple and the Menominee

 VFW.  Harvey was an avid fisherman and hunter.  He served in the

 Navy during the Korean Conflict from 1951 until 1955.

 

 He is survived by his wife, Nancy of Wallace; two daughters,

 Cynthia (Dennis) Evinrude of Hartland, Wisconsin and Linda (Marlin) 

 Rasner of Wallace; one son, Randy (Mary) Belanger of Wallace;

 three grandchildren, Tracy (Erich Stuebner) Evinrude, Tara and

 Shelby Belanger; three brothers, James Belanger of Loretta, Wiscon-

 sin, LaVerne (Pat) Belanger of Loretta, Wisconsin, and Ronald

 Belanger of Parkfalls, Wisconsin; one sister, Elaine (James) Adomatis

 of Eagle River, Wisconsin and a special friend and cousin, Len

 Lenhardt.

 

 Friends called on Tuesday, May 16, 2000 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at

 the CADIEU FUNERAL HOME.  The Crivitz Masonic Lodge held

 their visitation at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.  Funeral services were  held

 on Wednesday, May 17, 2000 at 11:00  a.m  at the GETHSEMANE

 LUTHERAN CHURCH in Wallace.   Friends called at the church

 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.  Rev. Thomas Lindblad

 officiated.

      Burial was held in Mellen Township Cemetery in Wallace.

      Military services were held in the cemetery.

 A memorial fund has been established by the Gethsemane Lutheran

 Church.

 the Bay Area Medical Center and also to the Northland Lutheran
