Gregory D. Boysol
Gregory D.
Boysol, 55, of Penn Valley died Dec. 17, 2003, at Sierra Nevada Hospital in
Grass Valley.
Born in Marysville, he was a lifelong Mid-Valley resident.
A
certified public accountant, he was managing general partner of Boysol and Myers
in Yuba City and a seven-year member of the Yuba-Sutter Chamber of Commerce,
serving as president in 1988.
He was a 1966 graduate of Marysville High School, received a bachelor's degree
from California State University, Chico, and a master's degree in taxation from
Golden Gate University.
In addition, he served in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Rich during the
Vietnam War and was a board member and treasurer of the California State Council
of Vietnam Veterans of America, as well as treasurer of local Chapter 535,
having also served as vice president and president.
Survivors include a stepbrother, Howard Washburn of Oregon; two stepsons, Darrin
Harmon of Lincoln and Darrell Harmon of Utah; and a stepdaughter, Dena Martinez
of Oregon.
He
was preceded in death by a sister, Deanna Boysol.

535, P.O. Box 37, Grass Valley, Ca 95945-0037.
Services: A memorial service is scheduled at 10 a.m. Jan. 10 at The Church of
Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1999 N. Beale Road, Linda. Arrangements were
under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary in Nevada City.
