William Richard Markwith, 77, died September 11, 2002 in Las Vegas.

He was born Feb. 2, 1925, in Greenville, Ohio. A retired Navy veteran
of World War II, he was an electronics engineer for an aircraft company
and a 14-year resident of Las Vegas.

He is survived by his wife, Yvonne; son, Ralph of Las Vegas; daughters,
Phyllis of California and Cindy; parents, Warren and Ethel, both of 
Greenville; brothers, Keith of Ohio, and Bob and Harold, both of California;
sisters, Azora Thompson and Betty Vance, both of Ohio, and Phyllis Allen
of California; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Services were private. Davis Funeral Home handled arrangements.
