William Allen “Bill” Trammel age 70 of Gallatin passed away Friday September 15, 2006 at Sumner Regional Medical Center.

Born in Westmoreland, Tennessee February 18, 1936 son of the late Robert Hurley Trammel and Eula Mai Doss Trammel.

He worked as a switchboard operator at Gallatin Steam Plant, served in the US Navy and was a member of Gallatin First Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife Maxine Lyles Trammell of Gallatin, two sons Patrick “Pat” Trammell of Gallatin and Phillip “Phil” Trammel and his wife Amy of Gallatin, and sister Lura Jean Linville and her husband Eddie of Westmoreland.

Funeral service was Sunday September 17, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home with Bro. Wert Campbell and Dr. Larry Yarborough officiating. Burial was in Eulia Cemetery. Visitation was Saturday September 16, 2006 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Sunday 12:00 noon until service time. Arrangements by Family Heritage Funeral Home 452-7115.
