Wilbur L. Witt, served on the USS Rich 70-71 and his rank at that time was SK2.

Wilbur L. Witt retired from the Navy in 1987 after serving 30 years
active duty. Six months to the day he returned to work in Stock
Control with the Civil Service continuing to do the job he always
loved and staying close to the Navy that he loved.
He passed away on 06 MAY 2005 after a very short five month battle
with cancer.
He leaves behind a wife, Gwendolyn S. Witt of Gulfport, son David
Witt, daughter-in-law Beth Witt and two grandsons, Dustin Lee
Witt and Michael David Witt.
The
family said goodbye at the National Cemetery in Biloxi, Mississippi.
