Ahoy All Destroyer Reunion
Coordinators and Association Officers,
We would very much appreciate it if you could pass this information
on to your association members as long as it does not conflict with any
planned events that your organizations may have forthcoming.
We have recently coordinated a combined Charles F. Adams Class
Destroyer Reunion Cruise for September 2, 2006. The response was very
good but due to a cross-scheduling of reunions, we still have a number
of category 6A ocean view
(window) staterooms and category 4A inside staterooms available for this
event. In light of this development, we would like to offer these
additional staterooms to all former officers and enlisted personnel who
have ever served aboard a naval
destroyer.
We will embark on a five night cruise aboard the 70,367 ton
Carnival "Fantasy" which will be sailing out of Port Canaveral, Florida
on September 2, 2006. She will be calling on the ports of Nassau, Half
Moon Cay and Grand Turk Island and the cruise includes accommodations,
all onboard meals, all onboard entertainment and complete room service
24/7. In addition, Carnival is providing us with a shared cocktail
party, one bottle of red wine per cabin and a $25.00 per cabin onboard
credit to be spent as you prefer anywhere aboard the ship. All
survivors, families and friends of former destroyer crewmembers are
welcome to sail with us as well.
The TOTAL cost is $946.66 per couple for an ocean view stateroom
(6A or better) or $809.66 for an inside cabin (4A or better). If you
choose to bring a third or fourth person in the same stateroom, the
price would be an additional $314.83
per person for those additional passengers.
This cruise is all-inclusive cruise. The prices above include your
cruise fare, all port charges and all taxes. You pay only for tips,
alcohol, soft drinks and (if you choose) whatever you should decide to
contribute to the casino. Trip cancellation, interruption and medical
insurance is optional and available at a cost of $39.00 per person if
you choose to purchase it.
A deposit of $50.00 is due by April 21st in order to guarantee the
above rates. Any cabins deposited after that date will be subject to
price and availability. Your remaining deposit of $175.00 per person
will be due by May 5th and the third and final payment is due by July
4th. Everything is COMPLETELY REFUNDABLE (including insurance premiums)
as long as you cancel prior to the July 4th final payment date.
