Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum for the express purpose of maintenance tools for the USS Laffey (DD724).

I met with Hoot Gibson today and was thrilled to receive a generous donation
from him on behalf of the USS RICH Association. I want to thank the members
of your association, not only for the financial support you give us to help
maintain USS LAFFEY, but also for the many, many man hours of labor that
your group has provided to do preservation and restoration work on the ship.
Through the superb efforts of organizations like yours, we are able to
maintain this important piece of American history and educate the youth of
today on the sacrifices and dedication of past generations. Thank you very
