Prayers Appreciated... More Requested

Friends,

We finally got Lynda's surgery scheduled. She is scheduled for early morning on the 14th of August. The surgeon said he will not be able to do laparoscopic surgery, due to the nature of the growth. He said he will have to open her up completely and will be in the hospital for a week or so before coming home. After that, she will need a lot of time to heal from the internal organs being moved around to gain access to the gland, which is attached to the kidney.

I want to thank all of you who prayed for her when this was discovered. I would ask you all to continue your prayers for her quick and complete recovery. I would also ask that you put a word in for me, since I will be eating Raelene's cooking for a couple of weeks or longer. The last time she cooked for us, I was introduced to boiled Pop-Tarts for breakfast. They weren't bad if you swallowed quickly. LOL
